South Sound Recovery Services provides recovery services for those who struggle with alcohol or other chemical dependency. These services include but are not limited to intervention, assessment, counseling, life skills training, and referral. We are proud to be a United Way of Mason County funded agency. Services are currently provided by volunteer counselors and drug addiction specialists. Volunteers also provide training and mentoring to clients and telephone support. Our clients for these services are often financially disadvantaged and not eligible for assistance from other organizations.
To avoid duplication of
services, we coordinate and partner with county
and state organizations to foster abstinence from abuse of alcohol or
other mind-altering chemicals. Our clients are referred by other clients,
the Department of Corrections, various self-help groups and local mental
health counseling services. |
